A Little Less Conversation: I love bright nail colors for my toes in the summer and this is such a fun cheery shade. It's a bright lemon yellow with a bit of shimmer that looks surprisingly good next to my pale skin and looks even better with a tan. Definitely my favorite yellow nail polish!
Apricotcha Cheating: This isn't my favorite OPI shade but worth owning if you like warm, slightly opaque polishes. It's a creamy melon that would suit most skintones. While it's a tad boring it's still a nice simple summer shade. I didn't have any problems with it streaking either - 2 coats gave even color.
Bright Lights Big Color: This is a bright warm coral with golden shimmer - a great summer shade that would flatter any skintone. It's sheer but two coats provide a good amount of color.
Dazzle Me: It took 4 coats to even begin to approximate what this shade looks like in the bottle, but I still like it. It's a silvery blue-green with frosty multicolored shimmer that gives a bit of an ethereal, "mermaid" type look to nails. With one or two coats though, it's a very sheer and somewhat unflattering sickly green, so I'd only recommend this if you're willing to apply a ton of layers.
Golden Rules: This isn't the best color for my pale skin but I like it anyway! It's a lovely burnished gold, not orangey/yellow and not too brown. My favorite gold polish is still OPI I Get a Kick Out of Gold (paler and much more flattering on me) but this is a beautiful shade if you're medium or dark-skinned.
I Get a Kick Out of Gold: I applied two coats of this and promptly decided I needed a back-up bottle! This is the most perfect gold nail polish I've come across. Colorwise it's similar to Lippmann's Nefertiti but doesn't have that slightly frosty tone that Nefertiti has - the shimmer is much prettier and glowier, if that makes sense. It's not orangey or too pale so it would definitely suit pretty much any skin tone. One more thing: it's part of the 2006 Rockettes collection, not in the permanent OPI line, so it may be a little tricky to track down.
Kyoto Pearl: This is so pretty in the bottle - a gorgeous white silver - but on me it's just a boring pale silver. Plus the metallic finish highlighted every single imperfection in my nails, and no amount of base coat or ridge filler seemed to help. I'd recommend buying this only if your nails are in superb condition.
Light My Sapphire: This is a pretty unique shade - a metallic blackened blue that still shows up blue rather than black. It's a nice alternative to other dark shades for the fall/winter.
Lincoln Park After Dark: I finally got around to buying this after hearing the hype for years. Now I understand why it's loved by so many! It's the perfect vampy matte plum that would flatter any skintone. Glad I got this.
Lincoln Park After Midnight: Loving this. It's a near-black, slightly metallic purple that's equally flattering on tips and toes, and would be nice on pretty much any skintone - I'm really liking it next to my fair skin, but I imagine it would look great on anyone.
Los Cabos Coral: This is basically a pinker version of OPI's Melon of Troy. It's a nice opaque warm pink that's great for summer. Since it's not overly warm or bright it would suit most skintones. It's a pretty shade but didn't knock my socks off.
OPI on Collins Ave: Meh. I ordered this sight unseen and was disappointed to see it's almost identical to OPI My Chihuahua Bites! - a smidge warmer but essentially the same color and finish. I guess this is a fun bright color for summer, especially on toes, but if you already own My Chihuahua Bites!, you don't need this one.
Osaka-to-me Orange: Great orange shade suitable for everyone - I think it would especially pretty on those with darker complexions. It's a bright fun orange with no shimmer, perfect for summer.
Rinse Charming: If you're looking for a metallic silver polish, this is the one to get. It's a nice true shimmery silver, not overly grey or blue, and it's so pigmented you could probably get away with just one coat. To me it's a very fun and festive color - I see myself wearing this for New Year's Eve - but not too crazy.
Royal Rajah Ruby: I love dark reds and didn't own any with shimmer, so I was pretty excited to get this shade. It looks equally good on tips and toes and would be flattering on any skintone. As with other OPI polishes this wears really well - I had it on my toes for 3 weeks and it still looked fresh.
Siberian Nights: This looks pretty in the bottle - a rich, deep eggplant - but on my nails it seemed to have a very unflattering brownish tinge. There's no shimmer so it just looked very flat and muddy. I much prefer Lincoln Park After Dark for a blackened plum.
Strawberry Margarita: This is the perfect summery pink. I love that it's bright without being neon or too bubblegummy, just a nice opaque cool pink. Even though it's on the cool side I imagine it would work on most skintones. I especially love it on toes.
The Thrill of Brazil: My search for the perfect cherry red without shimmer is over! This is a great shade that works year-round, looks good equally on toes and fingers, and would be flattering on any skintone. Definitely a must-have red polish.
