Adore U: I'm so glad Clinique came out with this shade, it's a perfect tawny sheer nude with gold shimmer. Up until Clinique released these summer shades of butter shines, Delovely was pretty much the only (pigmented) nude shade they had and it unfortunately washed me out. Adore U has more warmth to it so I get a great sunkissed look when I wear it, especially with a generous application of bronzer all over my face. If you're afraid of nude lip colors check this out, it's definitely wearable!
Cranberry Cream: Finally I've found a red lipstick that doesn't feel too drying. I've got fair skin, dark hair and eyes and this is a great red for my coloring. I think it would work on a lot of different skin tones though because it's a neutral-cool red without shimmer. It's not too bright or too dark, just a great red. The texture is fab too, so pigmented but so lightweight. If you want a nice pigmented red lipstick but not a heavy cakey one, this is the one to get.
Crushed Grape: This is my first Buttershine and it's great. It's possibly the most lightweight lipstick I've ever tried, and it feels like a balm even though this particular shade is very pigmented. It does feel dry after a few hours, but even lip glosses dry out after that amount of time, so I can't complain about the staying power. The color itself is a slightly shimmery violet, not too dark or dramatic but a nice purply shade.
Poppy Love: I was slightly disappointed with this shade. In the tube it looks like a bright peachy coral, but on my lips it was so sheer it just showed up a neutral shimmery pink. While it's a great MLBB shade for me, I was expecting something more pigmented and corally. I love the texture of buttershines and I can always use simple pink shades so I'll hang onto it, but if you're looking for a more pigmented peachy coral, this isn't it. Also, if you have pigmented lips skip this one, as it barely showed up on me and my lips are so light they practically disappear without some lip product.
Praline: This is my fourth Buttershine and quickly becoming one of my favorite lipsticks. It's a peachy, tawny nude with subtle gold shimmer. It's flattering on me (fair-skin) but I think it would be pretty on almost any skintone. I particularly like pairing it with gold eyeshadow and bronzey cheeks, but it would work with a variety of warm or neutral shades. Overall excellent texture and color, would definitely repurchase.
Beach Plum: These shadows have a great texture and go on very smoothly and last all day (with a base.) They remind me a bit of MAC's Veluxe Pearl in the amount of sheen they have, but I like the texture of these even more than MAC. This duo has a true gold (not orange and not brown) and a medium purple, slighly brighter than Stila Charm. All in all I was very pleased with these shadows!
Gold Glimmer: This is a great gold, not beige and not orange. I think it would be flattering on pretty much any skin tone, and it can be layered for more intensity. For some reason when I use it with Urban Decay Primer Potion it looks a little crepey, but when I use it with Benefit F.Y. Eye it's much more smooth and glowy. The only problem then is some very slight, barely noticeable creasing, which doesn't happen when I use the UD Primer Potion. I think the key to this product is figuring out which base works best for you. It's worth it because the color is gorgeous and very versatile.
Nude Sparkle: I can't believe I waited so long to buy this. It's a nice shimmery champagne that would flatter pretty much any skintone. If you have Stila Honey shadow pot you probably don't need this since they're virtually identical (Honey is a smidge cooler) but this is a great versatile shade.
Peacock: This is quickly becoming my favorite teal eyeshadow! It's not too dark, too bright, too green or too blue. Applied dry it gives a nice pop of color to your lids but it can be applied wet for more intensity. The texture is fabulous too, very soft and silky. A great shadow all around.
Sparkling Sage: This is a beautiful pale cool green shade with lots of shimmer and very slight grey undertones. It can be applied wet or dry too. I like to pair this with the Touch Tint in Teal Twinkle, but this shade would work with purples and silvers very nicely as well. I also think it would look great on a variety of skin tones.
Black Amethyst: This is a great basic purple liner. It's very dark but you can tell it's not black, and it goes on very smooth. I haven't had any problems with smudging or fading, but I've only lined my top lid with it so far. I love that it comes with a built-in sharpener. My only complaint is that I don't think any of these liners have shimmer, so I'll stick with cream shapers for now instead of buying more of these kohls.
Black Diamond: This is an excellent black liner, I love it because it's got some sparkle so it's not a totally flat black. Like all the Creamshapers it goes on very smoothly and can be smudged easily. I haven't had any problems with it wearing off too quickly either - the only time I noticed it had melted off was after the gym!
Brown Sugar: This is a shimmery warm brown, lighter than Chocolate Luster and Bobbi Brown's Bronze gel liner. I think it's too light for me - it doesn't have much impact on the lid as a darker liner would - but it's a nice basic shade nonetheless. It looks best with a very light wash of color on the lid, since it won't show up with a dark eyeshadow.
Egyptian: I am thrilled with this eyeliner and now I have to buy the other cream shapers! This is a great product and color. To my eye it looks like a black liner with gold shimmer, so it goes on a little softer than a regular black but has more impact than a grey or brown liner. Plus since it's mostly black it would be flattering on any eye color or skin tone. It goes on very smoothly (it's just as smooth as Laura Mercier's eye kohls) and doesn't smear or disappear. I haven't tried lining the inner rims but this would be ideal for a smokey eye. Overall this is a great liner and is becoming a staple for me.
Starry Plum: This is now my favorite purple eyeliner. I love that it actually shows up a nice violet color instead of black like so many other dark purple liners, plus it's got a bit of shimmer in it. As with all cream shapers it applies easily and doesn't tug your eyelids. Great product!
